Ready Set Market is Back!
WHAT IS IT?
“Ready Set Market!” (RSM) is the largest case competition at the University of Toronto Mississauga campus (UTM) held by passionate commerce and management students revolving around a marketing theme. RSM is open to all UofT campuses and we look forward to returning in person this year.
RSM has contributed practical and hands-on experience in solving real-world problems. Teams are provided with a case prior to the competition where they must work together using their problem-solving, critical thinking, and creativity to solve the case. Teams then have the chance to present their plan in front of other students, alumni, and industry professionals. RSM begins with an opening ceremony that includes keynote speakers from sponsors and various workshops throughout the day focused on professional soft and technical skills that are highlighted in the work environment.
In our second round, the top 4 presentations present in front of the entire competition, with cash prizes awarded to our top 3 teams for $1000, $500, and $300 respectively. Privileges for sponsors to get involved with our competitors, distribute promotional material, as well as contribute to planning the RSM event are all offered this year with highly exclusive spot opportunities to our highest-tier sponsors.
And lastly, IBA is so excited to host our first major in-person event! With guest speakers Alan Mallory and Rafael Chiuzi, as well as sponsors from PWC, Deloitte, Bell, Telus, and KMPG, we're hosting one of our largest events of the semester. We can't wait to see what the competitors have in store for us."
